Valplast Dentures Reviews

Setting up a wireless AP in cascade to the modem / router brands of

last year I shared a studio with my father and some collaborators having arrived Finally I found the network configured in a certain way, not accessible for those arriving from outside and for devices that should temporarily connect to the Internet.

The network was so specifically configured:
a modem / router connected to the Zyxel P600 phone (ADSL) and with 4-port Ethernet switch
a Dlink DES 1008D taking the line from the router and distributes it to the ethernet ports scattered throughout the study
a switch / wireless AP Dlink DI-624 which takes the line from the router using an Ethernet cable to a dozen meters, and provides the wireless connection in the home downstairs
Altos a server that hosts the storage and backup units (used only by clients connected and configured via cable), equipped with WindowsNTServer 2003
a multifunction printer network can only be used by clients connected and configured by cable ( Olivetti DColor MF25plus)

The network included fixed IP and DNS addresses manually entered on each client, this is a discrete solution for workstations, but tricky for laptops, for those who use the line from the house and for employees who are temporarily working in the studio. Moreover, the company "Shared" were only for clients connected via cable, so to print from a laptop or modify shared documents was an unnecessarily long.

After several attempts and discussions are able to:
1 - set the DHCP for the entire network, all managed by the Zyxel modem on top of the pyramid
2 - make visible the network printer to all clients on the network, including devices connected via wireless
3 - make available network resources (shared drives on the server and on my workstation) to all network clients

This thing
has created security problems have been solved by applying a WPA AP DI624 password that allows you to surf the internet or scan and print, and creating special user on the server can access shared resources. In this way, even from your living room you can access and modify workbooks (with the appropriate limits on the type of user) simply remembering two passwords, which can be saved.

Why am I writing?
because there are crazy two weeks: slow network, navigation hiccups, resources invisible, hidden printer ... all problems were caused by incorrect configuration of the AP dlink DI624. In fact, it was not able to recognize the Zyxel client and consequently lost functions continuously when the line and did not want to be part of the study on the LAN! If we add the IP factory belonged to a different subnet from Zyxel, you will understand why now I am so happy that everything works:)

How did I do?
the trick, very simple, is as follows: 1
you must enable the DHCP on the modem / route (zyxel), enter the DNS here
you connect 2 AP (dlink) and look for the LAN configuration: Here is inserted a different IP, belonging to the subnet of the modem, and the name of the internal study
3 disable the DHCP Wireless Access
4 set up a connection to the ISP dynamic IP on the AP: this thing escapes me but it works fine: D

Time: as you may have guessed I proceeded mainly in the case but it worked.
