Hello,
post a picture I made for my brother Andrew and I picked up this week.

The plant part of the furnishings and kitchen furnishings are Evermotion.

The rest is modeled on drawings by Andrea Grandi, Pietro Great shading and lighting.

It 's interesting because this work using the physical system of continued vray to have artifacts on the ceiling of the kitchen, even raising the parameters of the GI or sampling could clean it.
the end I used a VRayLight without the "skylight portal" for the kitchen window and I kept very low, without decay and without cast shadows. Then I turned on interpolation for Evermotion loads of glossy materials (part of the refrigerator and sink) with four passes.
At this point I realized that the Light cache could be relatively low (1400 samples, with prefiltering) and turned up the parameters of the subdivisions IrradianceMap (88) taking samples of the interpolation to 18, I have also activated the detail enhancement . At this point, the rendering time was excellent and the result excellent, unfortunately I love the filters 'hard' and I always opt for a high tolerance if not I will find myself with serrated edges and it did raise the computation time.

The final rendering is a 32-bit multi-channel EXR composited in Nuke. Note that for the first time I did not use the sub-pixel mapping and the result is much better than usual: in fact, those little errors that I noted earlier disappear with the glow of blur applied to past and capricious (in this case and specular reflection ).

3D motiongraphics

Hello,
put a little animation. E 'was prepared as a feasibility study for an animation to be inserted into opening a website.

The logo was designed by a team of graphic designers, I was involved in the creation of 3D compositing and motion graphics including the final.
Everything was created with 3DStudio Max, rendered with Mental Ray and a lighting system "fake gi" cone of light to soften the shadows, the 3D compositing with Nuke was performed while the animation of the final written / logo/3d is made in After Effects.
